VITORIA island ( Brasil )

Where have you lived?
Brasil, Caribbean Islands, Costa Rica, Mexico and U.S.A.

Where did you first surf?
My neighborhood in Brasil, a place called CAMBURI.

What keeps you surfing?
The passion i have for SURFING. I love the water. Being in the ocean makes me feel good and it keeps me healthy.

Any injuries or sketchy situations that have made you rethink your lifestyle?
In 2001 i broke my wrist surfing in Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica. I had to ride 2 hours with my hand hanging to get to a hospital. After surgery and a couple of months of physical therapy I was able to surf again. The time I had to spend out of the water was a horrible time for me. I am grateful every time I paddle out that I am able to do the thing I have the most passion for in my life.

What was the last trip you went on?
I went to Baja California and Mexico to surf a place called Todos Santos.

In your travels where would you like to return too?
I want to go back to Puerto Escondido, Mexico.

Where would you go tomorrow if you had the chance to go anywhere?
A boat trip in MENTAWAIS, Indonesia.

Would it be to surf or to visit?
SURF!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where would you like to be in 15 years? Somewhere on the Pacific Coast.

Tell me a quick story about:

-The last great session you had: I was driving to work and i saw 6ft waves breaking perfect way outside. I surfed a couple of hours that day with a friend who was on a kayak, my friend showed me this place. I have only been able to surf like that a few times here. I call the place SCOTT POINT after the friend who showed it to me.

-The last great meal you had:
Every night is a good meal. My girl cooks good...........

-The last time you got robbed or ripped off:
Playa Hermosa in Costa Rica i hung my towel and shorts out and some one took them.

-What you are going to get up to this evening:
I am going to sleep early because i have to work tomorrow.

For the record....Rodrigo is a caveman that I found trapped in ice in northern Canada who I thawed out and taught to surf. He promised me he will cut his nasty hair and make me a wig out of it. Check back for the photos!
